Your invoices
Each invoice you download is listed here, so you can mark it paid, reuse it for next month or fix a typo. The list is kept in this browser only.
How it works
- Enter your details and your client’sYou only type your own details once. Clients are saved too, so next time you pick them from a list.
- List what you are charging forAdd a line for each job, product or batch of hours. Tax, discounts and totals are worked out for you.
- Download the PDF and send itThe file is made on your device. Attach it to an email or message, or print it.
It keeps track, so you can come back to it
Each invoice you download is added to Your invoices. From there you can:
- see what you are owed and which invoices are overdue
- mark an invoice as paid, and download it again with a PAID stamp as a receipt
- reuse last month’s invoice for a regular client, with a new number and today’s date
- correct a mistake without starting again
Invoice numbers count up on their own. If your last invoice was INV-0007, the next one starts as INV-0008.
What an invoice needs to include
Whatever your trade, a usable invoice has the same core parts:
- the word “Invoice” and a unique invoice number
- your business name, address and contact details
- your client’s name and address
- the date of the invoice and when payment is due
- a clear description of what you are charging for, with quantities and prices
- the total, and any tax shown separately
- how to pay you
The form above has a place for each of these. For more detail, read how to write an invoice.

Questions
Is InvoicePress free?
Yes. There is no charge, no trial and no limit on the number of invoices. The site is paid for by the adverts shown on it.
Do I need to create an account?
No. There is nothing to sign up for. Open the page, fill in the invoice and download it.
Where are my invoices stored?
In your own browser, on the device you are using. They are never sent to us, which also means we cannot recover them for you. Use "Export a backup" under Your invoices from time to time, especially before clearing your browsing data or changing phone.
Can I add VAT, GST or sales tax?
Yes. Tick "Add tax to this invoice", then enter the name of the tax and the rate. If you are not registered for tax, leave it off.
Can I put my logo on the invoice?
Yes. Choose "Add logo" in the Your business section. It is saved with your details and appears on every invoice until you remove it.
Can I change an invoice after I have downloaded it?
Yes. Find it under Your invoices, choose Edit, make the change and download it again. The invoice number stays the same.
Can I make quotes, estimates and receipts?
Yes. Under "More options" change the document title to Quote, Estimate or Receipt. For a receipt, you can also mark an invoice as paid and download it again with a PAID stamp.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes. The editor fits a phone screen, and the PDF downloads to your files so you can attach it to an email or message.
